Some Info About…

Myself & My Photography

I am 23 years old and have been taking pictures for 10 years, since moving to Germany from America.

Over time, my photography has evolved to compliment my passions and surroundings. From exploring the landscapes of the Alps when I lived in the south of Germany, to shooting countless concerts in Berlin where I studied music production.

I would describe my style as generally clean, but never sterile. My aim is to distill and showcase the beauty and true essence of the subjects I capture, which usually means not doing too much editing. Occasionally, however, I will be inspired to augment the subject’s energy and present the material in unique and complimentary fashion: as collages or experimental edits, like the image below of Kevin Abstract taken during Brockhampton’s ‘Saturation’ Era.

My Accomplishments

I was made a suggested user by Instagram on three separate occasions and also met Co-Founder and CEO Kevin Systrom.

My photos were featured on pages like Instagood, on VSCO’s grid, and on sites like Viewbug, Twenty20, and many more.

I won many local photo competitions as well as several online ones with millions of competitors.

I have had seven solo exhibits across Germany and the USA.

I have shot many of my favorite artists in concert and even gone on tour with both Aries and The Underachievers, who are hugely inspirational to me.

I have had my work published in calendars, photo books, and magazines.

My Mission

My photography of landscapes aims to showcase and immortalize the beauty of natural spaces. Sustainability and environmental protection is of the utmost importance to me and that is why I also donate 10% of the profits from my freelance work to non-profits that support the protection of nature and the fight against climate change.

Similarly, I try to photograph people who inspire me and whose message I want to amplify and share with others. My aim is to capture what they are doing in an authentic way and create visuals they love that help them communicate effectively.

I believe that all forms of art, including visual imagery, can have a profound impact ~ to move and inspire people. My hope is that my work can fulfill that potential in a meaningful way.
